Are cookies used on the store's website and what are they?
Kettu Knits uses cookies ("cookies") and other similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage ("local storage"). Cookies are small text files between the end device's browser and the server. Cookies and other identifiers have a defined validity period, after which the browser deletes the identifier. We use these technologies to implement functions, for personalization and for analytics and marketing targeting. Functional cookies and local storage are used e.g. for customer identification, login maintenance, delivery time estimates and Shopping Cart functions. The use of cookies and local storage and acceptance of their use is mandatory for these functions. Functional cookies set by the server and local storage variables remain in the browser for 15 min-24 months, unless they are separately deleted from the browser settings. Visiting the website resets cookies and local storage variables if the browser allows it. By personalizing the user experience, we can offer more product recommendations that are interesting to our customers. For this function, a RichRelevance cookie is placed in the customer's browser. These cookies remain in the browser for 30 minutes to 24 months. The information sent to RichRelevance, such as visits to product pages and search history, is anonymized, and it is not possible for a third party to find out the customer's identity. The information used for analytics and marketing targeting is anonymized whenever possible. Otherwise, we treat the information as personal to the extent that the identifier contains customer-targeting information, such as an IP address. Identifiers that are connected to the customer in some way are also treated as personal information. The validity period of tags used for analytics and marketing targeting is 30s-24 months.
We use Google Analytics, e.g. in analytics related to the use of our site, popular products, trends and sales. The information sent to Google is anonymized. Read more about Google Analytics data processing . Other technologies we use for analytics and marketing targeting, such as pixel tags, help us better understand our customers' behavior and tell us which products are of interest to our customers and which functions and services are most useful to our customers. The identifiers used by our analytics and marketing partners can be refused by enabling the browser's Do Not Track function and setting the browser to reject third-party cookies.
